The Dairy and The Granary are adjoining barn cottages forming one side of an open courtyard with the walled and gated heated outdoor swimming pool opposite. They both have stunning views to the rear over the lawns and tennis court to the hills beyond and small enclosed gardens from which to sit and take in the vista.

The cottages were totally re-furbished in 2004, each having two bedrooms plus a sofa bed and providing an excellent standard of comfort and facilities with all the character of an old cottage. They each sleep up to 5 and are equipped to a high standard with central heating, electric hob, microwave combination oven, fridge, washer/dryer, tv/dvd/video, hi-fi. The gardens each have a barbeque and garden furniture and there is a large parking area. The Games Room offers table tennis, table football, pool table and darts as well as games for the garden such as cricket and badminton. There are board games both in the cottages and the Games Room and tennis rackets and balls are available for use on the Tennis Court.

BED & BREAKFAST at "Barritshayes"
Our bed and breakfast guests enjoy all the same facilities as our cottage guests (see 'Pool and Facilities' page). Barritshayes is set in 8 acres of grounds and paddocks and guests are welcome to walk around and take in the wonderful views which surround us. Although not a working farm, we do have some friendly sheep, horses. dogs and cats, and children may be interested in helping to feed the animals each evening. At Barritshayes you're assured of a warm welcome, comfortable rooms and a hearty breakfast. We endeavour to use local, organic produce when possible.
